Ok, so what do you pair a blazer with? The answer? Absolutely ANYTHING. I just wore mine today to a bridal fair with skinny jeans, a black tank, and knee-high boots. I added a simple gold necklace w/a rhinestone pendant and thought I looked pretty put together! I'm going out in a few weeks and I'm planning on pairing it with a looser-fitting cream colored tank and a black skirt. And of course, my leopard print heels. During the winter/fall/early spring, you can also throw the blazer over your sleeveless/strapless dresses to keep yourself warm. Seriously, can't go wrong with a blazer!
So here are some of my faves-under $50 of course!
This blazer from Charlotte Russe looks just like mine, and it's only $39.50! That means you have $10.50 to spend on jewelry-that's always a plus! Plus, their earrings, bracelets, and rings are usually 2 for $8. Seriously, you can't beat that!
This blazer from Macy's may be the answer to my prayers, even though it's not black. It's got the embellished shoulders as well as an awesome military vibe to it. Keep this low key with a white tee and jeans. It's on sale for $20.99 now so snatch it up while it's still in stock!
I like the preppy feel of this blazer from F21. The contrast between the black and the cream adds a really casual feel to it. I would add a colorful bag to make it all POP. In true F21 fashion, it's under $25.
Ok, I know I said I'd keep it under $50, but this one from Torrid is too awesome to pass up. I LOVE the cream and the studs mixed together. It's the perfect mix of softness and edginess. Save up an extra $8 (skip two days at Caribou and you've got it) and go pick one up. Love, love, love!
So that's my obsession for the day. What are yours?
I LOVE blazers too! My go-to blazer that I pair with any and everything is a black 3/4 sleeve Michael Kors one. Because of the sleeve length, it's easy to dress down, and I love to put it over dresses for the winter. I think I have a picture of me wearing it on NYE - I paired it with a silver dress and black tights. I have a light grey with a very subtle white pinstripe boyfriend blazer that I love to wear with jeans and heels. I want a statement blazer too!

I'm pretty sure I just bought the same blazer at H&M for $19.99 the other day but in grey. I definitely saw a disaster in the making with the cream one, so I opted out of that.
ReplyDeleteKaitlyn-I keep the sleeves rolled up on mine-they have satin on the inside of them which I think makes a chic statement too.
ReplyDeleteAsh-I wanted the black or gray one but they didn't have it in my size! I think I'm going to go back and see if I can find one or get one from another stuff because it's SUCH a good deal!
